IUSW membership cost (as of Oct 2007)

Full time £10.10 per month or £2.40p per week

Part time £5.55p per month of £1.28p per week (under 20 hours)

You can pay by cash, cheque or by direct debit.

Direct debit
If you pay by Direct Debit, although you can use any name you wish for your membership details, your Direct Debit details are available to all staff in the GMB London region membership department, and are on a computer system that can be accessed by anyone at that office, for the duration of your membership. If you leave the union, those details are archived for an indefinite period. Your bank does not receive a copy of the membership form.

Cheque
Please make cheques payable to‘ GMB '.

If you pay by cheque only the Branch Secretary or Treasurer – whoever pays it in to the bank – will see the cheque. The membership form is passed to the GMB and will be available to all staff in the GMB London region membership department, and on a computer system that can be accessed by anyone at that office.

Cash
If you pay by cash the money will be paid into the bank by the Branch Secretary or Treasurer and the membership form will be dealt with as above.
